1. Controller

Primera BV, trading as ARKE Beauty, Kapelstraat 101, 2570 Duffel, Belgium, BE 1037.889.706 (“we”) is responsible for the processing of your personal data on arkebeauty.com. Questions: info@arkebeauty.com.

2. Which data we collect

• Order data: name, delivery and billing address, e-mail, phone number, ordered products, payment status.

• Account data: login details and order history if you create an account; for professional accounts also company name, VAT number and proof of professional activity.

• Communication: messages you send us by e-mail, contact form or social media.

• Newsletter: your e-mail address, only if you subscribe.

• Technical data: IP address, browser and device data and cookies (see section 7).

We do not receive or store your full payment card details; these are processed directly by our payment providers.

3. Why we use your data (purpose and legal basis)

• To process and deliver your order and handle returns – performance of the contract.

• To manage your customer or professional account – performance of the contract.

• To keep invoices and accounting records – legal obligation.

• To answer your questions – legitimate interest.

• To send newsletters and offers – your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link.

• To prevent fraud and secure our website – legitimate interest.

• To analyse and improve our website and advertising – your consent via the cookie banner.

4. Who receives your data

We only share data with service providers who need it to perform their service, such as our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment providers, delivery and parcel services (e.g. bpost, PostNL, DPD), our accountant, and, with your consent, e-mail marketing and analytics tools. Some providers (such as Shopify) may process data outside the EU; in that case appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply. We never sell your personal data.

5. How long we keep your data

Order and invoice data are kept for as long as required by Belgian accounting and tax law. Account data are kept as long as your account is active. Newsletter data are kept until you unsubscribe. Other data are deleted when no longer needed.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time. Send your request to info@arkebeauty.com. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to make the shop work (such as the shopping cart and checkout). Analytics and marketing cookies are only placed with your consent, which you give or refuse via the cookie banner and can change at any time.
